EOD Technology, Inc. (EODT), a Critical Mission Support and Site Redevelopment firm based in Lenoir City, TN, recently received a $20M increase to its contract to provide IT support to the Iraq Ministry of Defense (MoD) through the Multinational Security Transition Command – Iraq (MNSTC-I). The scope of services under the contract includes Voice and Data Operations and Maintenance, specifically telecommunications engineering support, equipment, training, network administration, and logistics support and maintenance.
This $20M increase in the Voice and Data Operations and Maintenance contract attests to EODT’s superior performance executing IT support tasks for MNSTC-I. Julio E. García, RN, MD, Health Affairs Policy Health Advisor for MNSTC-I, made the following statement in reference to EODT’s performance on this contract: “I can honestly tell you I never experienced such a high degree of professionalism, expertise, and focus on customer satisfaction in the 40 years I spent on Active Duty.”
EODT began providing IT support to MoD and MNSTC-I in September 2005 and has been under contract consistently since that time. The staff of EODT experts executing this contract is comprised of 20 expatriate IT personnel and 21 local nationals. This team maintains the network/systems for MoD to ensure that the command has successful communication with elements at forward locations. EODT provides the essential command, control, communications, and computers necessary to maintain IT operations and communications. In addition, EODT provides the primary means for administrative and logistical support for MNSTCI-I and the MOD, JHQ, and Iraqi Armed Forces (IAF) activities.
