EODT Awarded $122M Security Contract

June 30, 2007, Lenoir City, TN - EOD Technology, Inc. received a $122M contract award from the Multi-National Security and Transition Command – Iraq (MNSTC-I) for security services in Iraq. The scope of the one-year contract includes static security for Rusafa Prison, Rusafa Court House, Forward Operating Base Shield and Baghdad Police College, as well as life support services for those working and residing on these sites and personal security details for Iraqi judges and their families, as well as Coalition/Iraqi investigators and their families.
The Rusafa Security Support Services contract is in support of the Law and Order Task Force and Rusafa Law and Order Project mission to strengthen Iraq’s civilian law enforcement and judicial institutions. EODT’s President, Matt Kaye, stated “This project is vitally important to the Government and people of Iraq. EODT is proud to be a part of this effort and we plan to put everything we have into helping make sure this project succeeds.” Full operation is required by August 1, 2007.
Comprised of the Coalition Military Assistance Training Team (CMATT), the Civilian Police Assistance Training Team (CPATT), and the Joint Headquarters Advisory Support Team (JHQ), MNSTC-I is a Department of Defense operation whose mission is to organize, train, and mentor Iraqi security forces, in order to support Iraq’s ultimate goal of a unified, stable, and democratic nation.
