Matt Kaye

Mr. Kaye serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for EODT. He joined EOD Technology, Inc. in 1993 and has been involved in nearly every aspect of the firm. Beginning his career with EODT as a Marketing Assistant, he rose to the position of Marketing Director in 1995, and then Marketing and Finance Director in 1997. During this period, revenues grew from just under $1M to $8M annually. Mr. Kaye was instrumental in building all of EODT’s business and execution systems, including the establishment of EODT’s ESOP in 2002. Mr. Kaye was appointed Vice President in 2000 and President and CEO in 2004 with annual revenues of $88M. In 2003 Mr. Kaye assembled an independent Board of Advisors to assist with strategic initiatives of the company, and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2002. EODT’s projected revenues for 2008 are in excess of $250M. Prior to joining EODT, Mr. Kaye worked in a variety of positions at SAIC, Westinghouse, and ATEC building a diverse business background in the professional services industry. Mr. Kaye is a native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and a graduate of Auburn University.

Steve Voland
Vice President of Operations

Mr. Voland serves as VP of Operations and has more than 22 years of experience in the UXO field. He recently led efforts that resulted in winning two major contracts with a combined value of more than $225 million. Mr. Voland personally led EODT's first field operations in Iraq, in April 2003 and spearheaded the $70 million Captured Enemy Ammunition Program that included managing a security force of more than 1,500 personnel comprised of US Citizens, Third Country Nationals, and Local Iraqi Nationals. Mr. Voland is an accomplished Program/Project Manager with experience directing Engineering Evaluation/Cost Assessment (EE/CA), munitions response, UXO/MEC clearance, and HTRW environmental remediation projects for government and private sector clients, including DoD and The Army Corps of Engineers. He offers experience serving as primary customer point of contact, developing and implementing management plans, directing contractual commitments, and reviewing and finalizing technical reports. As VP, Mr. Voland provides oversight to the General Managers of EODT’s three Business Units: Munitions Response, Critical Mission Support, and Security Services; and also manages the Corporate Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, and Project Controls Manager. Mr. Voland is a Master EOD Technician with a BS in Business Administration from Regents University.

Lisa Jacobson
Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Jacobson, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for all aspects of EODT’s financial management operations, including financial strategy, policy development, risk management, and value creation. Ms. Jacobson joined EODT in January 2008 after providing financial leadership in the private and government sectors. Ms. Jacobson was CFO for Lockheed Martin Government Services Group, a diversified business process and IT services solutions firm serving the Government sector. Most recently, she served as CFO for Essex Corporation, a technology and professional services provider to defense and intelligence sector clients, where she increased the value of the firm through acquisition and value creation strategies. During her career as a CFO, Ms. Jacobson has achieved process and organizational improvements, while continuously growing firms through mergers, acquisitions, and risk management. Prior to serving as a CFO, Ms. Jacobson acted as Senior Executive with the Government Accountability Office, where she worked with Congress to improve financial management practices throughout the Federal Government. Ms. Jacobson is a Certified Public Accountant in Oklahoma, and is well versed in strategic development, financial systems, and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance (SOX).

Darrell Elliott
Director, Business Development

Mr. Elliott is EODT’s Director of Business Development. He is a proposal and new business development professional with an extensive background directing the development of proposals and oral presentations for the Departments of Energy, State, Justice, and Defense (Army, USACE, Navy, and Air Force), as well as for federal agencies, including EPA and NASA. He has played a critical role in transforming EODT into a large-scale contract competitor with his expertise in large proposals. As a principal author, he supported the winning proposals for two contracts valued at $160 million, with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Huntsville, and Legacy Depot and Mobile Team Munitions Response in Iraq. He has designed and implemented improvements to all of EODT's business development systems that support marketing, sales, and proposals. Mr. Elliott earned a BS in Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee; and an MS in Engineering Administration from George Washington University.

Bill Pearse
Director, Strategic Ventures

Mr. Pearse is the Director of Strategic Ventures and an environmental professional with 20 years of technical and business management experience in government, industry, and consulting environments. Mr. Pearse has been involved with the operational and management and business development of munitions response projects for more than ten years, and was instrumental in the business development of EODT’s Security Services and IT business lines. In his current capacity, Mr. Pearse is responsible for developing future business areas suitable to EODT, strategic planning, and media relations. Specific areas of experience include proposal development, project and program management, environmental regulatory compliance, environmental management systems, and site development. Mr. Pearse was EODT’s Program Manager for its Worldwide Munitions Response program contract with the USACE, Huntsville--then EODT's principal client--from 1999-2004, during which annual revenues rose ten-fold to approximately $80M. Duties included Task Order proposal preparation oversight, project management oversight, contract management, and customer relations. Mr. Pearse is a certified ISO 14000 auditor, and was a principal participant in EODT’s ISO-9000 certification process. Mr. Pearse earned a BS in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Nuclear Engineering from Cornell University.

Chris Spiller
Vice President of Human Resources

Mr. Spiller is EODT’s Vice President of Human Resources responsible for implementing initiatives to actively support EODT’s key business strategies through effective employee relations, continual organizational development, and use of strategic Human Resources programs. Mr. Spiller brings more than 16 years of experience to EODT in identifying and managing essential HR needs. Prior to joining EODT, Mr. Spiller was Senior Human Resource Business Partner for Electronic Data Systems Inc., where he managed cross-functional efforts and advanced the firm’s strategic HR programs. Prior to that, Mr. Spiller served as Director of Human Resources for a diversified property management firm and developed a full spectrum of HR programs, including an employee-focused compensation/incentive program that improved employee retention. For each firm, Mr. Spiller was instrumental in implementing metric-based management methods to measure staffing and performance efforts. Mr. Spiller has extensive experience in strategic planning, performance management, and Federal regulation compliance. Mr. Spiller earned a BA in Management at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida; an MBA from Saint Leo University, St. Leo, Florida; and earned his SPHR certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Erik Quist
Director, Business & Legal Affairs

Mr. Quist brings more than 20 years of commercial and government contracting experience to EODT as Director of Business and Legal Affairs. Mr. Quist also serves the roles of Corporate Counsel and Facility Security Officer. He provides management oversight of the Contracts, is responsible for EODT's Policy Manual, and EODT’s Policies and Procedures, while maintaining EODT’s multiple GSA Contracts. Mr. Quist also provides Senior Management oversight for EODT subsidiaries. He directs all internal and external legal matters including coordination of outside counsel, and international business and contractual relationships for EODT’s business in Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Libya, and Korea. Mr. Quist has worked in Iraq to help manage EODT’s business interests, including the establishment of multiple Iraqi companies. Additional duties include providing assistance for new business initiatives, insurance, and risk management matters. Mr. Quist also serves as the Trustee/Administrator of the company 401(k) Plan. He is an undergraduate of The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and also earned his JD degree from The University of Tennessee, and is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and New York.

Kevin Kuklok
Ethics and Compliance Officer

Mr. Kuklok is EODT's Ethics and Compliance Officer, and is responsible for supporting and maintaining an ethical environment for EODT employee owners and contract employees. Mr. Kuklok is a retired Major General for the United States Marine Corps, and has more than thirty years of military and private sector management experience. Prior to being appointed to the Ethics and Compliance Officer position, Mr. Kuklok served as EODT’s Country Manager in Iraq, where he was responsible for all operations in country, provided oversight on EODT contracts, and served and maintained customer relationships with the Government of Iraq. In 2001, Mr. Kuklok was recalled to active service at the Pentagon as Assistant Deputy of Programs, Plans, and Operations to assist and coordinate activities involving the Department of Defense. Immediately prior to joining EODT, Mr. Kuklok served as Director of the Office of Policy, Plans and Analysis, in Baghdad and as Senior Planner of Essential Services for the reconstruction and reconstitution of Iraq under Coalition Provisional Authority. He later went on to serve as Site Manager for a commercial firm specializing in aging aircraft structural analysis for the Government. Mr. Kuklok is an active community leader and participates in volunteer programs. Mr. Kuklok earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and has a MBA from United States International University.
