What does EODT do in Munitions Response?
EODT provides the full range of Munitions Response and Range Sustainment activities, from legacy cleanup programs such as Formerly Used Defense Sites, Base Realignment and Closure sites, and Mine Action, to battlefield clearance in post-conflict environment, to land reuse activities such as range sustainment and Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) site redevelopment. We also manufacture live-fire training targets for active training ranges. EODT performs these services for government and commercial customers worldwide.

Yes, several. Most recently, we won, with the Corps of Engineers, the Locke Mouton Award for Community Relations for our work at Former Camp Wheeler in Macon, GA. We recieved The National Safety Concil's award for Significant Improvement in Safety Performance in 2007. We earned the Perfect Record award by the Occupational Safety/Health Award Program for operating 314,684 employee hours without an occupational injury or illness.

Why are you located in Lenoir City?
At its startup, company founders chose Oak Ridge as a location suitable for a technology-focused company and Lenoir City is only 18 miles away. Today, we find East Tennessee a great place to live and work and recruit new employees.

Where are your offices?
EODT Headquarters are in Lenoir City, TN, which is located near Knoxville. Our other offices include Huntsville, AL; Washington D.C.; Baghdad; Kuwait City; Kabul; Lagos; and Tripoli. Lenoir City, Baghdad, and Kuwait City are also logistics centers.

Who are EODT's primary customers?
For Munitions Response, our primary customers are the Huntsville US Army Corps of Engineers and the Navy, with whom we’ve led a continuous contractual relationship for more than ten years.
For Security, we are working for a number of US Army organizations and NATO throughout Iraq, and Department of State.
For Critical Mission Support, our primary customers are US Army, United Nations, NATO, and Foreign Governments.

- Navy:
We have worked at several Navy locations, including Adak Island, AK; Salton Sea, CA; St. Julien’s Creek, VA; and for the Navy Construction Battalion at Taji and Balad.
- Marine Corps:
We have worked at a few Marine bases, including significant range cleanup and sustainment projects at Camp Lejeune, NC.
- Air Force:
We have worked at Kirtland AFB (NM), the former Conway Bombing Range (SC), the former Five Points bombing range (TX) and at Balad and Tallil Air Bases in Iraq, as well as Kandahar in Afghanistan.

What is an ESOP?
Employee Stock Ownership Plan, which enables each eligible employee to accumulate stock in the company so that they can directly benefit from the financial growth of the company. Because EODT is privately held, such stock is not otherwise available.

There are two primary advantages. How does an ESOP actually work?
At the end of each year, the company stock is evaluated and reset. Based on the financial results, EODT management establishes its contribution (a percentage of W-2 wages) which is then applied across the board to all employees. Employees accumulate these contributions in their individual accounts
